To avoid distortion from welding heat, an L-shaped piece is made from a single stainless steel plate!
Here are some examples of the production of "work tables."
When installing counters and similar items, it is dangerous if the cut edges come into contact with human hands, so typically, they are bent back to create a lip. This lip area tends to be perceived as hollow and may seem like it would dent if something hits it, but in reality, if made from 1.5mm thick stainless steel, it will not bend or dent under normal circumstances.
Additionally, the corners of the counter, which are treated with #400 buffing on stainless steel SUS304, are processed with an R30 radius to prevent injury in case someone accidentally bumps into them. Normally, when bending and welding stainless steel plates, the corners become sharp, so the tips are bent to an R shape, welded, and then polished for finishing.
